βMy alphabet hates itself. Like … imagine someone says, βThink outside the box.β My hyperactive mind creates a sphere and laughs at the box and researches for hours on end how much better spheres are. Then my Autism freaks out that I broke the rules without realising there were any, and wonders why we are supposed to think
inside cardboard boxes in the first place. Surely being inside cardboard boxes isnβt comfortable.β

The idea of creating this page was born from the illusion to unite two things in my life that have always gone hand in hand: writing and mental health.
Every year diagnoses of mental health increase and, among them, those of neurodivergence, so my purpose is not only to provide content on this subject but also to be able to unite this community as much as possible, which on certain occasions may feel isolated or discriminated against. Unfortunately, there are many people, including many young people, who fear rejection when diagnosed with any disorder that prevents them from expressing themselves openly with total freedom.
Erika Creates aims to create a calm and safe environment for all those who wish to join and raise their voices by providing interesting, quality content, and above all, that is capable of integrating everyone.
